Web OPAC
All printed materials and audio-visual materials available in the Library are listed in the Library Catalogue (Web OPAC). Searching from the Library Catalogue is a way to locate materials on shelf quickly and easily. Also from the Web OPAC, library users can check user’s record such as lists of checked in or checked out books/media, overdue and fine, renewal, etc.
Buu Library E-Resources
Full text online databases can be accessible and downloaded for academic and research purposes through Burapha University IP address. Accessing the Library’s E-resources from outside of BUUNET, library users must use the VPN program which can be installed via BUU Library website. The student or staff’s account from BUU Computer Center is needed to log in the program.
Information Literacy
BUU Library provides the training programs for Thai and International Students called “Library Orientation”. The program will educate the library users how to use and search for the library materials/resources and to utilize the research tools (e.g. Web OPAC, e- books , e- journals ). Please access to the Library website for more details concerning the training and library tour schedules. Registration can be done by walk in or online via the Library website.
Reference and Information Service
Reference and Information Service Desk at 2nd floor of the Library provides:
•Assistance and advice to individual library user in obtaining documents and information.
•Answer users’ questions of finding materials from library’s collections and accessing to the catalogs. Collections include printed books and periodicals, electronic databases, etc.
•Introduce library services to users. These services are ILL, subject reference, SDI, etc.

Users can submit their questions at desk, by phone, or via e-mail.

Circulation Service
Various resources in the Library can be borrowed by students and staff of Burapha University and must be return within the due date. Check-out period is various depending on the member status. For detail and to use the service, please contact the Circulation Counter Service at 2nd floor.
Document Delivery Service
Document Delivery Service provide books/Media in the BUU Library and send to faculties, staff
and researchers within Bangsaen campus. This service can be requested online via the Library website. For more details, please contact the Circulation Counter Service at 2nd floor.
Book – drop Service
The book-drop boxes are located at the front entrance of the Library at 1st floor. Library users may deposit their books at any time in the dedicated boxes. A book is only considered “returned” by the library when it has been checked in and removed from your library account. User should check the personal library record at Web OPAC via Patron information to ensure that the book have been checked in.
Interlibrary Loan Service
Interlibrary Loan Service is a service that allows library users to request books, journal articles, or non-print media that are not available in the BUU Library and borrowed from other libraries in the country. This service is made possible through cooperative agreements in which participating libraries permit the use of their collections. Please contact the librarian or ILL staff for more details concerning the service.

How to use the library loan service:
•Ask the librarian to arrange the library loan service: Complete the request form as thoroughly as possible and give the request form to a reference librarian.
•Contact the other library by yourself: Complete the request form as thoroughly as possible by yourself, ask for assistance from a reference librarian to complete the other part of the form, and then contact the other library by yourself.

Internet Service
BUU Library provides a number of PCs (more than 200 computers) to support the study and research activities. Library users can use the Internet service at 6th floor.
Audio-Visual Service
Students and staff of BUU are allowed to borrow CD, VCD, DVD 3 items per time up to 7 days. For detail and to use the service, please contact Audio-Visual Counter Service at 6th floor.
Cable TV Service
Variety news, movies, and entertainment channels from Cable TV. User may ask for earphones by contacting the Audio-Visual Counter Service at 6th floor.
Mini Theater Room
Mini theater room is scheduled to show movies or films everyday. The movie program are shown on the Library website. However, library user can choose the movies on his own or can book the room for instruction, the minimum booking of 10 people is required. Please contact Audio-Visual Counter Service at 6th floor.
Group Study Room
Students and staff of Burapha University can use group study rooms at 5th floor. Room booking can be done via walk in or online via the Library website.
Locker Service
Automatic locker, which is convenient to use is available in the entrance area at 2nd floor.
Photocopy
Photocopy service is operated by a private company which available at 3rd and 4th floor.
Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi)
BUU Library offers free wireless Internet almost throughout the entire area of the Library building. Access is given to anyone (BUU students and staff) who has a wireless enabled laptop and an BUU account to access the Internet. The Library also provides access to electrical outlets for only charging notebook batteries in some areas.
