Mangrove Conservation for a Sustainable Environment Project
Mr. Hemmarat Wachirahatthapong, the Director of the Burapha University Library, together with library personnel, participated in the “Mangrove Conservation for a Sustainable Environment” project. The activities included preparing mangrove seedlings in bamboo tubes, collecting litter along the Bang Pakong River estuary, planting 120 mangrove trees, and joining a natural tie-dye workshop to create eco-friendly tote bags as part of a global warming reduction campaign. The project was held on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at the Mangrove Seedling Nursery Learning Center, Khlong Tamru Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province. The initiative aimed to raise environmental awareness among library personnel by fostering a greater appreciation for the conservation of natural resources and the environment. It also contributed to the restoration of the mangrove ecosystem, helping to enhance its richness and sustainability for future generations.
