The 16th “A New World Through Reading” Project at Chonburi Women’s Correctional Institution
Burapha University Library held the 16th “A New World Through Reading” Project at Chonburi Women’s Correctional Institution. As part of the project, The library donated books to the institution and conducted a practical workshop on “Creating a Reading Journal.” The event also featured environmental activities and a musical performance by students from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Burapha University. The activities aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the importance of reading and lifelong learning, while enabling them to apply the knowledge and skills gained from the workshop to support library activities within the correctional institution. The project also sought to foster a love of reading, encourage creative thinking, and promote positive and constructive perspectives among the inmates. The event was held on July 8, 2026, at Leelawadee Building, Chonburi Women’s Correctional Institution.
