“Shiny Bag Upcycling” Activity
Burapha University Library held the “Shiny Bag Upcycling” activity with the aim of promoting the circular use of resources and advancing sustainable environmental practices. The activity encouraged participants to donate aluminum foil-lined plastic packaging bags, known as “shiny bags,” which were collected and forwarded to upcycling network partners. The materials were then processed into construction materials, such as bricks and concrete blocks, or used to produce alternative energy. Participants who donated the packaging materials were also given an opportunity to enter a lucky draw to win prizes and souvenirs from Burapha University Library. The activity was held from July 22–24, 2026, in front of the Information Desk.
