“Heartfelt Bags for Hospitals” Project
Burapha University Library held the “Heartfelt Bags for Hospitals” Project as part of the Green Library initiative. The project aimed to promote the efficient use of paper resources, raise awareness of plastic waste reduction, and foster environmental awareness among staff, students, and library users. The activity provided participants with an opportunity to engage in volunteer work by making and folding paper bags to be used for dispensing medicines. Burapha University Library provided all necessary materials and facilities to support the activity. All paper bags produced during the activity were collected and delivered to hospitals and healthcare facilities for use in packaging medicines for patients. In addition to helping reduce packaging costs for healthcare organizations, the project contributed to the Green Library initiative and promoted tangible participation in sustainable development.bThe activity was held from July 20–23, 2026, at the learning commons hall on the 1st floor of Burapha University Library.
